We’re AppliedProgress, a dedicated team of ERP professionals committed to your continued success. We’re not here to sell you a mind-numbing array of software products. We’re business people ourselves and we understand the value of a dollar. We know that ERP is a big financial investment – one that can seem overwhelming.  That’s why we take a different approach.

Rather than comparing complex demos, we’ll talk with you and compare facts – your facts, and help determine what’s most important to you and your company’s future.

We start by proving you with the charts below.  These charts shows the target market for SAP Business ByDesign.  Where are you on these charts?  If you are in the fit area then lets talk further.  If you are not then we would be happy to talk with you and point you to some other products.  We only do Business ByDesign but we know about many ERP products and will be happy to help you find something else outside of what we offer.

If you are in the industries we fit or maybe close then lets take this a step further.  We’ll do a survey over the phone of your needs.  We will decide whether we are a fit or not.  Companies that need Accounting, Purchasing, Inventory, CRM, Manufacturing or Projects may be a good fit even if they are not in the target market.  Lets talk first if these are your needs.

Proof of Fit

Once we jointly decide that ByDesign will be a good fit we will then discuss our Proof Of Fit approach.  This is a unique approach to selling ERP software.  If we say the product is a good fit then we should be able to prove it before you sign a contract for the software and implementation services.  It takes many months usually for a full implementation but we should be able to do a proof of fit in a few weeks that will show how it will fit your business.  But this itself is a big undertaking on our part with no compensation from you.  In order to make this effort worthwhile we would ask that you agree with the following:

  • If we show that our product fits your business you will agree to sign with us and start the implementation.
  • You will not look at other products and will not negotiate for lower costs.  These costs will be agreed on in advance.
  • Much of what we do in the proof of fit will be used in the implementation  so this is a cost saving for you.
  • If you don’t want to make this commitment then we can agree on some other approach that has you putting some skin in the game before we undertake this large effort to prove the product fits.

 

Risk sharing implementation

ERP has a history of failures.  Many companies have embarked on ERP and ended up not getting what they thought they were going to get.  We will share this risk with you.  We will hold back a portion of our fees.  Our full fees will not be paid until after you have successfully gone live with the application.   If we fail to go live then we don’t get our full payment.  Its in our best interest to make sure we can succeed before we start.  Its in your best interest to give us the resource needed from your company, and make decisions in a timely fashion so that we can together make this a success.
